Workshops & Awareness Sessions

Experience Gugulethu. Learn from the community. Create something meaningful.

Choose an experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Join us in the township of Gugulethu for a hands-on workshop where you create your own bag alongside local craftspeople. Your visit can also include a guided walk through the township, giving you a closer look at the community, its stories and everyday life, followed by an opportunity to enjoy local food.

We also offer awareness and knowledge-sharing sessions for NGOs, schools, government organisations and small and medium-sized businesses interested in community development and development cooperation.

Drawing on our own experience in Gugulethu, we share practical insights into what works, what does not, and why. We explore how development initiatives can create sustainable impact, what challenges communities currently face, and where the most urgent needs and opportunities lie.

Our sessions are designed to encourage honest conversation, new perspectives and a better understanding of development from within the community itself.

Come to Gugulethu, invite us to your organisation, or join us online. Workshops and awareness sessions can be organised at our location, at a venue of your choice, or online as an interactive webinar.
